PLIVATI is an independent Australian swim and resort wear label inspired by the effortless beauty of Mediterranean summers.
Founded on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2019, PLIVATI was created with a simple vision: to design beautiful, considered swimwear that women feel confident wearing — from long days by the water to wherever the evening takes them.
Our collections bring together timeless silhouettes, original prints and thoughtful details, balancing flattering coverage with a distinctly European sensibility.

At PLIVATI, we believe beautiful design should go beyond how something looks.
Our swimwear is created using carefully selected premium fabrics, including recycled and sustainable fabrications across many of our collections, with considered features designed for comfort, support and longevity.
From sculpted one pieces and elevated separates to flowing resort wear, every piece is designed to work together — creating an effortless wardrobe made to take you from beach to bar and beyond.
Produced in considered quantities rather than mass production, PLIVATI embraces a slower, more intentional approach to fashion.
INSPIRED BY THE MEDITERRANEAN
The Mediterranean has always been at the heart of PLIVATI.
The name PLIVATI means “to swim” in Croatian — a nod to the Croatian connection that has influenced the spirit and story of the brand.
From the colours of the Adriatic and sun-washed European coastlines to long lunches, island escapes and summers spent by the sea, these influences find their way into our prints, palettes and collections.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Julianne Bobanovic — Founder & Creative Director
With a background in marketing and operations and an enduring love of fashion, travel and the ocean, Julianne founded PLIVATI in 2019 on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
What began as a boutique Australian swimwear label has evolved into a growing swim and resort wear brand, shaped by Julianne’s belief that women shouldn’t have to choose between feeling comfortable, confident and beautifully dressed.
Today, Julianne continues to lead the creative direction of PLIVATI — from collection concepts and original prints to campaign imagery, runway presentations and the evolving world of PLIVATI Resort.
Seven years on, the vision remains beautifully simple:
