PLIVATI TAKES THE RUNWAY AT GOLD COAST SWIM WEEK 2026
European Summer met the Gold Coast as PLIVATI returned to the runway for Gold Coast Swim Week SZ4 - 2026, showcasing our latest swim and resort styles at the iconic Cali Beach Club in Surfers Paradise.
For an Australian designed label inspired by Mediterranean Summers, there couldn’t have been a more fitting setting — poolside, under the Queensland sun and surrounded by an incredible celebration of Australian swimwear.
THE RUNWAY
This year’s runway brought together pieces from across the PLIVATI collection — signature one pieces, bikinis, statement prints and resort wear designed to take you effortlessly from beach to bar.
From our much loved Adriatic print to Mediterranean inspired designs and elevated silhouettes, the runway was everything PLIVATI represents: feminine, confident, wearable and made for Summer.
FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN TO THE GOLD COAST
PLIVATI was founded in Australia in 2019, with inspiration drawn from founder Julianne Bobanovic’s family Croatian heritage and a lifelong love of the Adriatic.
Even our name tells the story — PLIVATI means “to swim” in Croatian.
That Mediterranean influence continues to shape our collections today, from custom prints and rich coastal colours to swimwear designed to be styled beyond the beach.
Seeing that story come to life on the Gold Coast Swim Week runway made this year’s show particularly special.

As PLIVATI continues to evolve into swim and resort, the runway offered a glimpse at where the brand is heading.
